The Music

The Jazzisfaction Big Band plays in a pure, swinging style.

The traditional swing, which is typical of the great big band period, is being carefully maintained by the band. The bands of Count Basie and Francy Boland serve as a leading example for The Jazzisfaction Big Band.

The band also chooses to play from the immense repertoire of big band history. Some examples of those are artists like Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, Charlie Barnett, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Stan Kenton, Ted Heath, Tommy Dorsey, Henri Mancini and Woody Herman.

Besides the classical big band tracks the band also plays contemporary jazz from composers like Slide Hampton, Dusko Goykovich and Frank Foster.

With this music they try to cater for as many people as possible.
